A Kodiak or TopKick 4500/5500 is an amazing work truck. Despite not offering this model for many years, a lot of these trucks are still on the road today because people enjoyed them so much. One thing not enjoyable about these trucks is definitely the ride quality. A great place to start improving that ride quality is with a Kelderman 2-Stage Front Air Suspension System. With the installation of this 2-Stage Front Air Suspension kit, the back half of the leaf spring pack is removed. An air suspension framework takes its place, providing a much better ride quality. This framework connects from the previous leaf spring/axle location up to the truck frame.

These modifications have altered the spring rate of the factory suspension and allow the air suspension to make up the difference in weight rating with a sturdy, yet comfortable air ride setup. Also included in this air suspension kit is an upgraded track bar and sway bar assembly. Both components contribute to a much more enjoyable driving experience in your truck.
