DHD L5P Duramax Engine Oil Cooler Filter Adapter - Uses PF2232 Filter

The worst part about converting your classic Duramax to a 2020+ engine oil cooler is changing to the smaller PF26 filter. This filter adapter from DHD allows you to use the traditional PF2232 Duramax oil filter on your 2020+ GM oil cooler. Eliminate confusion at the parts store and use the same tools you always have!

Fitment:

This adapter was designed to be utilized on classic body LB7, LLY, LBZ and LMM trucks with the updated 2020+ cooler.

Installing this adapter on new chassis 2020+ trucks will make the larger filter rest on the auxiliary coolant pump inlet hose. Clearance can be achieved by rotating the hose and clamps highlighted green in the diagram below:
