As peak horsepower and engine RPM's continue to climb, it's becoming more evident that the factory Duramax belt tensioner is not sufficient! DHD's manual tensioner package is a complete solution to eliminating belt slip and belt deflection under high rpm and high load. This two-piece kit eliminates the factory spring driven tensioner that comes on your truck and adds an addition pulley to the routing system to increase belt engagement. This kit is a must for dual fueler trucks or those exceeding 4000rpm.
